Dear Johnson,      .

It has been a crazy few days at work since our arrival home. It was good to finally meet you in person after all our correspondence arranging the trip. Our trip was great - Huangshan is amazing, Hongcun & Nanping so tranquil and Wuzhen and Suzhou a joy to explore....We also had the company of our good guide Nick.

Both he and our driver Mr Zhang was very helpful... We had a little bit of problem getting back our deposit with one of the hotels in Hangzhou (we had forgotten to get them back when we checked out, and on the way to Huangshan, we realized it and Nick helped us to call the hotel to tell them we would be back in a few days to get it. However, when we went back to Hangzhou again after Huangshan, Nick was not able to get it back for us when he went with Mr Zhang - they gave him stories that were obviously not true... All ended well, when all of us went back there again the next day and luckily met the girl who answered Nick's call a few days ago.... Pls. thank Nick & Mr Zhang again for us... We take it all in as part and parcel of the travelling experience...

Thank you for arranging this trip for us. Your professionalism and that of your guide and driver is commendable, and we would not hesitate to use your company again in our future... We would definitely recommend you to friends intending to travel in China....

Attached 2 pics of all of us in Huangshan, since you only got to meet 4 out of the 7 of us... :-)

Regards,

Clare Teoh  Malaysia

The group, consisting of 7 people, landed in Hangzhou on November 9 from Malaysia to begin their 10-day China tour focusing on those scenic sites as Hangzhou, Wuzhen, Suzhou, Huangshan, Tunxi and Qiandaohu Lake. Huangshan CITS made all the arrangements for the group except for hotels in Hangzhou, Suzhou and Tunxi which the group booked themselves. Luckily, I had the pleasure to meet 4 of them in my office located in Tiandu International Hotel where, coincidently, the group stayed overnight.

Dear Johnson,

I would like to thank you for the excellent organization of our recent, and second, China tour. You did a very good job, and everything worked out well. Your personal involvement was very important.

I had some (actually a lot) time on the airplane on the way back, and thought it might be helpful for you to use the time for writing you some honest remarks:

1. Hotels:
Bravo in Guilin- reasonable. Very crowded with groups. Especially at breakfast.
New Century Hotel- Very poor! Please don't send there tourists anymore.
    Longji One Hotel, Loungshang- Excellent.
Overnight Train- A unique experience. Once during a visit is good and enough.
Lijiang Yi Bang Residence- Excellent!!! Highly recommended!
Salvo Hotel in Shanghai (booked on our own) - recommended, very good hotel, great location, reasonably priced.

2. Guides:

All had a good knowledge and very good English. Only the one in Lijiang (Jerry) had a real high motivation and very positive approach. He is a definitely recommended.

3. Itinerary:

Overall very good. In Lijiang we had some extra time, as we did not do shopping. The best days were Tiger Leaping Gorge and the rice fields.

4. Food:

Mostly good. A little bit too much "Hotel food". I would prefer to pay a few dollars more and have some better restaurants with more variety of dishes. We always had enough, but some places were too much of touristic simple food. In Lijiang we had more local restaurants and especially the lunches were good.

5. Summary:

Enjoyed very much. We will hopefully come again. We will recommend.

Best regards,

Amos Brandeis  Israel

As Amos, chairman of Israel Planners Association (since 2006) and ambassador of IRF (International Riverfoundation, Australia), mentioned, it is his second trip to China; his first trip took place a few years ago, but was also organized by Huangshan CITS. He visited Huangshan during his first trip while his second trip covered Guilin, Kunming, Lijiang and Shanghai. Many thanks for his candid feedback and usefull information.

Hello Johnson,

I wanted to write and tell you that the tour you organized for myself and my friend was truly amazing! Our guide, Nick, was really wonderful and more like a knowledgeable friend who cared about us, than just a "guide."

This was my 17th trip to Mainland China and visiting Huangshan was something I had wanted to do for some time now - it was fantastic! Staying for 2 nights and hiking from the South Hotel to the North Hotel worked very well for us. I am so glad we stayed 2 nights and got to hike and see all the incredible views of Huangshan!

You were professional and working with you was easy as you paid attention to what we wanted and delivered exactly what you said you would. I would highly recommend you to anyone looking for a well priced and excellent tour of Huangshan and surrounding villages.

Do you also work in other areas of China?

Thank you so much Johnson and do say hello to Nick ...... one day I will send him the DVD of our trip, just been really busy since returning home on Oct 8th.

My Best to you,

Linda Baker   USA

Hi David,

I believe I yet to let you know that we enjoyed ourselves very much on this free and easy trip to Huangshan. Since we are on our own, there was no time constraint and yet we were not lost at all. The whole holiday was really smooth. Driver Mr Yue's service is good and he saved our time and leg by giving good advice on our hotel selection for the day that we came down from the mountain. It was good that I could made the hotel change last minute online.

I would like to thank you for your coordination, assistance and trust worthy service. I will sure to recommend friends to your company. Thank you once again.

Blessings,

Hilda   Singapore

Dear Mr. Johnson,

Our visit to Huangshan was excellent. The guide, Joe, was wonderfull. There are many things we will remember from the Sunrise on the mountain to having lunch in the ancient village.

The trip back was what in the USA we call the total experience. We enjoyed it, but some people might not. You may want to warn people that provincial roads can be extremely rough, and the buses that use them may do strange things that they are only likely to see in China. For example, stop somewhere in the country looking for a passenger, give up and drive off, only to be caught by the passenger being carried on a motor scooter. It was a very memorable trip.

Thanks again

David Griffiths  USA

David, formally worked with General Motors, is currently woking with Chery Motor Company located in Wuhu, China, with his wife, Annabel. Their son and daughter came to China to see the parents in August. So, the whole family decided to take a trip to Huangshan, one of the most famous mountains in China.

Dear Johnson,

Thank you for arranging the Hangzhou and Suzhou tour for my family.

While there were mistakes made with the Shanghai - Hangzhou train tickets, and the service at the Hangzhou restaurant could have been better, my family had enjoyed their trip very much.  They found the tour guides to be very helpful and considerate, especially where my mother-in-law is concerned.  She cannot walk very far and had to rely on a wheelchair most times.  Of course, the weather was unpredictable, and the sun could have come out more often.  Overall, the trip was memorable for all.  My family has come away with lots of good memories of Hangzhou and Suzhou.

So thank you and please convey our gratitude to the guides and your partners.  They have tries their best - it is much appreciated.

I hope we will work together on another exicting trip in the future.

Cheers, Wee-Lyn   Australia

Dear Johnson,

I would like to thank you for helping us and organizing the tour for my wife and I. We enjoyed the trip very much.

We would like to commend Linda Xu for the way she acted as our guide. We are especially glad that she suggested a change of plan  while we were up in Huangshan and the mist was very thick obscuring the views. As a result, on the second day we could see more than what we saw on the first day. If we did not change our plan we would probably be disappointed.

Please pass this message to Linda for us.

Thank you.

Yours sincerely,

Heng   New Zealand

Heng and his wife booked Hangzhou and Huangshan Tour with us in May. Everything went on smoothly with their trip either in Hangzhou and Huangshan.

They had a WONDERFUL time Johnson.....thank you so much for organizing it.

Regards,

Ros Simmonds

James, Ros's son, and his girl friend are from Longdon and currently in China since his his parents are teaching in Shanghai. While in London, said James, his economic teacher told him that he should go to Yellow Mountains if he had a chance to visit China. The email was written to us by his mother.

Our trip was good. Thank you for your great arrangement and assistance.

Will definitely recommend friends to you in future.

Rachel, a lovely young girl, took Huangshan Hiking Tour with her boyfriend after flying to Hangzhou. While they fully enjoyed the fabulous scenery, I guess they should be a little a bit exhausted. Haha!

Dear Johnson, dear Jean,     .

A few weeks ago we enjoyed your support and company during our tour in China. We still remember the great time we had there with the CITS team. Thank you for the warm welcome at Tunxi railway station in the early morning on a chilly day in February 2011. Unforgettable the charm of the ancient villages Hongcun and Xidi, where we had so interesting explanations and stories about China with lovely Jean. We strolled together through the sunny lanes and warmed our hands in a tea shop. I do not remember if we tasted Huang Shan Mao Feng or Tai Ping Hou Kui, but I remember that the taste was delicious and refreshing. We learned a lot about Chinese history and old architecture with our female guide Jean who explained all in brilliant English. Due to perfect organization of CITS, we arrived early morning at the bottom of Huangshan and managed to hike up to the Beihei hotel.

Johnson was the great spirit behind our tours and cared well for all our steps. He found the correct balance of Chinese guide company and care and our own discovery and prepared a really individual tour through a great and interesting country. The drivers arrived on time and we had comfortable and safe transport on China's streets. I want to mention that the financial matter was handled professionally and with fair prices. I can recommend CITS as your perfect travel guide in China to everybody.

Thank you again for your warm hospitality. Hope to visit you once again in the future.

With my best spring greetings

Sincerely yours,

After encountering difficulties in asking a German travel agency to make the Huangshan trip, Asta and her son turned to us for all the arrangement. The photos they sent to us and their big smiles up Huangshan explain everything!

Min, her husband and 3 of her friends joined the tour to Huangshan and nearby century-old villages, also world cultural heritage sites. It is beyond doubt that all of them enjoyed the trip immensely.

November 22, 2010

Dear David,

I had a trip, together with my friends from Oct. 25 to Oct. 29. in Huangshan. Our Guide was Ms. Xu Lin (Linda Xu)!

I would like to say thank you very much for the very big support from Ms. Xu! She always give us the best suggestions and she explained us much about the Chinese culture!

She always has a good mood even when the weather was bad but finally we saw different land scape during our trip! We saw snow, ice, folk and sunshine in the mountains!

If friends of my would like to travel to Huangshan mountain, i would promote your agency to guide the tour!

A nother point was the wonderful accommodation in Zhanggong Guan Boutique Hotel in Hongcun! A wonderful nice local house with very kind people!

So finally i can say.... i would never forget this trip!

I wish you a very successful time with your agency!

Hi Johnson,

We arrived safely and the weather is very good in Hong Kong!  Unfortunately, my computer was broken down....and just resume to normal today!

Thank you for all the arrangement, especially on hotels selection, like "Chabofu Hotel", "New Kaiyuan Hotel".  We are very satisfied on your good performance and really have a good journey during this week ^^ ......

On behalf of my team, thanks again to you, Huyong & your team's effort.

Hope we'll meet again some times in future!

Best rgds,

Peg

Peg and 11 other photography fans from Hongkong conducted a 7-day photography tour to Hangzhou, Huangshan, old villages of Hongcun, Xidi and Wuyuan. Obviously, the group enjoyed the trip immensely. To our great relief that they arrived in Hongkong safely, not affecting by the Typhoon Megi.

Hello Johnson,

Thanks once again for a great tour, Allan was indeed an excellent guide, always concerned about our well being and had a very good knowledge of everything, it was a shame that the weather was not in our favour but we still had an enjoyable time.

The bus trip to Shanghai was good, the seats were comfortable and the bus made 2 rest stops on the way, it was good to relax and look at the countryside and see the amazing development going on inside China, its not only a huge country but is expanding so quickly it soon will be number 1 in the world.

The next time we come back we would like to do a cruise down the Yangtse river, so you will be hearing from us again, not sure when but will contact you when ready.

Best regards and many thanks for you help

Dennis Aitken    Australia

Dennis's China tour, together with his 3 friends, was arranged by a travel agency in Australia. Huangshan tour which was his extention trip, however, was arranged by Huangshan CITS. When we met, they told us that they'd enjoyed more our arrangement than that by the Aurstralian travel agency.
