Hefei-Tongling-Huangshan Highway To Be Open To Traffic

A new highway linking Hefei, capital of Anhui Province, Tongling, China's Ancient Bronze Capital and Modern Copper Base, and the Huangshan Mountain will open on September 29. The 309km-long highway's opening would cut travel time between the two destinations from five to three hours. It is expected to offer even more conveninet and fast transportation to those who wish to come to Huangshan, one of the major attracions in China for it unparelleled landscape and unique scenery.
That is another important highway after Hangzhou-Huangshan highway which was completed on January 1st, 2007. It takes now only 3 hours from Hangzhou to Huangshan in comparison to previous 7 hours.
